Everyone is talking about the Geneva Motor Show right now, but if you like big trucks then news out of the NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis matters more to you.
If you ever played with a TONKA dump truck in the sandbox as a kid, Ford has a new toy for you. Meet the Mighty Ford F-750 TONKA Dump Truck.
Based on the 2016 Ford F-750, the 10 foot tall truck just screams fun with the iconic yellow TONKA paint job and graphics. The truck carries a 33,000 lb GVWR and can haul 17,000 pounds of dirt in the dump bed.
Ford is hoping to inspire the imaginations of all ages with this new TONKA variant. Funrise’s Kathy Hawk summed it up nicely on why the partnership makes sense.
“Creating this F-750 TONKA truck is a special way to celebrate that many of today’s Ford truck customers first drove a TONKA truck.”
If you’re looking for a new dump truck for your business and you want to put down money on this beauty, you’re out of luck. This is a one-off show piece and not available for sale.
But you can still check it out in person if you want! It’ll be at the NTEA Work Truck Show, and other auto shows and events for the rest of the year.
Now, how do we go about convincing Ford we want to drive it?
